It may not be high impact or get you huffing and puffing but the gentle art of Tai Chi can reduce obesity according to a recent study.

200 locals that join the regular twice weekly free tai chi, led by Master Rod Ferguson gathered to back the results that were announced in the study.

Griffith University and the Gold Coast City Council have released a report that shows regular Tai Chi can make you feel better physically and mentally.

Griffith University, in collaboration with the City of Gold Coast Active & Healthy Tai Chi, has undertaken research which shows the ancient Chinese martial art can significantly improve mental and physical health as well as aid in connecting communities.
